Get involved
Buy one person one thing they need.
Whether you are an individual, a business or a funding body, the ask is the same: cover something specific and we will show you the receipt.
Individuals
Cover a single item
Pick one thing from an open board — a mic, a pair of steel-caps, a term of transport — and cover it. You will get a receipt reference and an update when it is bought.
Business & trade
Supply at cost, or sponsor a set
Two ways in. Become a listed supplier and give us trade pricing so every dollar stretches. Or sponsor a whole set for one person and we will tell you exactly what it bought.
Foundations
Fund a cohort
Fund a block of sets in a trade or a postcode. You get itemised acquittal by design — every dollar tied to a quoted line, a named supplier and a dated receipt.
For suppliers
If you sell the gear, you can change the maths
A supplier who gives us trade pricing does more good per dollar than most donors, because every set that uses you gets cheaper for everyone.
We ask listed suppliers for three things: a written quote we can publish, an invoice direct to the Foundation, and a clear refund position if a set closes short.
In return you are named on every set page that uses you, alongside the businesses who already keep the Street Buffet trays full.
For referrers
If you work with someone who is ready
Caseworkers, employers, outreach teams and family can all refer. So can the person themselves.
One rule, and we hold it firmly: if you are referring on someone’s behalf, they must know you are doing it and want you to. We will not build a public page about a person who has not agreed to it.
Give time instead
Or come to the table on Sunday.
Street Set grew out of Street Buffet, and Street Buffet always needs hands. Setup from 4pm, serving 4:30pm, Tom Uren Square, Cathedral St, Woolloomooloo. No experience needed.
